She was predeceased by: her parents, James R. Wooten, Sr. and Maggie Wooten; her husband L. W. Brown; her brothers, James R. Wooten, Jr. and William M. Wooten; her sister-in-law Bonnie Wooten; and her niece Shelia English.

She is survived by: her sister-in-law Kathryn Wooten; her great-nephew Adam English; her great-niece Amanda English; and her caregivers, Patricia and Richard Anderson.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Winkenhofer Funeral Home (2950 Cobb Pkwy N, Kennesaw, GA 30152). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
