She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth James Walker; and her parents, Marcus Thacker and Mary Lou Thacker. She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Morris of Acworth and Sherri Brackett of Kennesaw, Georgia; her grandchildren, Jackson Morris (Jill), Chandler, Morgan Morris and Regan Hackney (Seth); and her great grandchildren, Olivia and Pierce Hackney. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family, members, and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and at 3:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Mayes Ward Dobbins Historic Marietta Chapel (180 Church St, Marietta, GA 30060).
