He is survived by : his wife Peggy; his children, John Paul Guthrie, Jr. (Robin) and Lori Fuller (Brett); his grandchildren, Michael Ballmann, Brittany Whitaker (Ben), Chris Ballmann (Courtney), Caroline and Abigail Fuller; and his great grandchildren, Sawyer, Grady Whitaker, Wells and Shepherd Ballmann.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in John's honor to the AUMC Food Pantry.
