She was predeceased by : her former life partner Jerome Young; and her parents, Herbert Parks and Margaret Parks. She is survived by : her husband Stanley Hunter of Kennesaw; her son Jason Young (Magdalena); her grandchildren, Isabelle, Jacob and Lucas of Marietta, GA; her son Justin Young (Jessica); her grandchildren, Payton, Blake and Kane of Frankfort, IL; her son Jeremy Young (Cristina); her granddaughter Jayleigh of Pensacola, FL; her son Joshua Young; her granddaughters, Jaila Robins and Myla Young of Palm Beach, FL; and her siblings, Jackie Orenstein (Lee) of Woodstock, IL, Carl Parks of Tempe, AZ and Cathy Montes (Diego) of South Elgin, IL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Davis-Struempf Funeral Home (1975 East-West Connector, Austell, GA 30106). A memorial service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Davis-Struempf Chapel (1975 East-West Connector, Austell, GA 30106).

In Lieu of flowers, a memorial site was established to assist with the funeral expenses.
