With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shan S. Wright of Kennesaw, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 6, 2025 at the age of 57. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Shan may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Savoy and Marthine Heyward Savoy. She is survived by: her husband Gregory Wright; and her children, Chanel A. Willis and Noah S. Wright.

Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mayes Ward Dobbins Macland Chapel (3940 Macland Rd, Powder Springs, GA 30127). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mayes Ward-Dobbins Macland Chapel (3940 Macland Rd, Powder Springs, GA 30127).

She even found Kaylee at a dog show in Perry and went by the handler’s station to say hi about 9 months later. I will always think of her as a wonderful new friend and am very sad to hear of her passing. To her family and friends, my heartfelt condolences and prayers during your time of sorrow.”
