He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henderson and Birdie Henderson; and his wives, Nancy Allen Carr Henderson of Giles County, VA, Shirley Kirkland Henderson of Douglas, GA and Betty Simmons of Hazlehurst, GA..

He is survived by: his children, Randy (Alison) and Gina (Michael). He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
