He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred, Sr. Sutton and Georgia Sutton; his wife Vivian Warnes Sutton; his son Brad Kenneth Sutton; his granddaughter Sara Faith Edwards; his siblings, Martha Claire Todd (Bill) of Cummings, Kenneth W. Sutton (Dot) and Fred C. Sutton (LaVerne); and his brother-in-law Dr. Densford Cartledge.
He is survived by: his children, Melinda Gay, Johnny, Georgia, Fred and Jimmy Sutton (Joyce Martin) of Jacksonville; his sister Carolyn Sutton Cartledge of Stone Mountain; and his grandchildren, Jill Sutton Lewis, Wayne Sutton (Michelle), Shane Snipes (Tammy), Leah Stahle (George), Cali Davis (Jacob), Caleb Sutton, Preston Edwards (Kelsey), Sophia Edwards, Jessica Dingle, Drew Sutton (Annamay), Cory Sutton, Evan Sutton, Jennifer Akers (Aaron) and Christine Blackmon (Christian).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jack Sutton's name may be made to Hospice of the Golden Isles, Brunwick GA.
