He is survived by: his wife Twinette King Pope; his children, Latoya Johnson (Thomas) and Tyrone Maurice Pope of Columbus, Georgia.; and his siblings-in-law, Jeannette King Myers (Harry), Tilton C. King, Jr. and LaNancy King Moody (Richey). He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and cherished friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Allison Memorial Chapel (10141 Colerain Rd, St Marys, GA 31558).
