She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur H. Chapman and Mattie R. Perkins Chapman; her brothers, Billy V. Chapman, Sr. and Donnie Chapman; and her parents-in-law, J. C. and Thelma Buxton.
She is survived by: her husband Michael Buxton of Kite; her children, Mike Buxton (Charlotte) of Kite and Regina Lindsey (Charlie) of Sandersville; her grandchildren, Ashley Claxton (Jen), Andrew Claxton (Allyson), Heather Creech (Troy), Harley Smith (Dylan), Cole Buxton, Chase Lindsey, Briggston Buxton and Bream Buxton; and her great grandchildren, Addie Claxton, Stephen Buck Claxton, Ryleigh Ann Claxton, A. J. Claxton, Rayley Smith, Case Smith and Mattie Creech. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many friends.
