She was predeceased by: her parents, Monroe Mathis and Melvia Bailey Mathis; and her husband Michael James. She is survived by: her sons, Brent Harris (Stacie) and Trent Harris (Rose); her grandchildren, Wade Harris, Jarred Harris, Minnie White, Tori Cochran and Eli Mitchell; her great grandchildren, Owen Mitchell, Koleson Mitchell and Dawson Mitchell; and her sisters, Brenda Daugherty and Jane Keith. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home (121 W Villanow St, LaFayette, GA 30728). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
