We announce the death of David Carroll of LaFayette, Georgia, who passed away on July 16, 2026, at the age of 85. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elzie Carroll and Reva Lingerfelt Hunter; his wife Dorothy Pauline "Dot" Carroll; and his son Phillip Anthony "Tony" Carroll. He is survived by: his son Adam; his daughter-in-law Dasha Carroll; his half-brother Tim Hunter; his daughter-in-law Lynda Carroll; his grandchildren, Taylor Barrett (Landon) and Gabbi Gray (Daniel); and his great grandchildren, Collins Barrett and Colbie Gray. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and additional family members.
