He was loved and cherished by many people including: wife: Shirley Guenther; son and daughter-in-law: Robert Hooper (Peggy Hooper); daughters and son-in-law: Beverly Hooper and Linda McCrary (Mike McCrary); sisters: Marie Robinson, Eileen Bauers and Betty Miller; parents: Bernhard Joseph Guenther and Dorothy Therese Laque Guenther; brothers: Gerald Guenther, Robert Guenther, Bernie Guenther and Mike Guenther; grandson: Kenny Brown; 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Coffman Funeral Home (12855 US Hwy 27, Summerville, GA 30747).
