It is with sadness that the passing of Elmer Williams (LaFayette, Georgia) is shared. Elmer, born on September 9, 1957, passed away on August 31, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Williams and Etta Mae Williams; and his brother Jerry Gilreath (Tammy). He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Alesha Thompson (Dave), Seth Roark and Brandy Rollins (Bo); his sisters, Jane Williams (Steve), Gloria Durham, Rita Castillo, Joyce Green (Eric) and Rachel Mitchell (Brian); his mother-in-law Geneva Stotts; and his siblings-in-law, Donna Hayes and Ira Stotts (Diane). He is also survived by 10 grandkids and 11 great grandkids and a host of relatives.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home (121 W Villanow St, LaFayette, GA 30728). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
