He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Ann Brannen Dodson; and his siblings, Ralph Dodson (Clara), Elmer "Tug" Dodson (Gus), James "Bud" Dodson (Juanita), Sylvia Christal (Jack), Violet Naves, Betty Busby (Jim), Kathy Shrum (Stan) and Lorraine Turnipseed.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Desrosier and Leslie Jones (Gordon); and his grandchildren, Riannon Edwards (Stephen), Chassidy McFalls and Eli Walker. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
