She was predeceased by: her husband John Paul Scoggins; her parents, Roland Pettyjohn and Mattie Pettyjohn; her siblings, Ernest Pettyjohn, Lucille Cook, Essie Millican and Betty Hix; and her daughter-in-law Joy Scoggins.
She is survived by: her children, Gwen Gregory (Chuck) and Dr. Ted Scoggins; her grandchildren, Ryan Scoggins (Julie), Ben Scoggins (Emily), Emily Varnell (Aaron), Daniel Scoggins (Kristin) and Matt Gregory (Jessica); and her great grandchildren, Caroline, Anna Claire, Katelyn, David, Teddy, Hazel, Susie, Tate and Cora.
