She was predeceased by: her husband Don Simmons; and her parents, Roy Edward and Betty Woodward. She is survived by: her children, Misty Young (Glenn), Charity Burnette (Brennon) and Donald Lee Simmons; her grandchildren, Megan Pettigrew, Kayla Sharp, Jacob Burnette (Kayla), Aaron Burnette (Baylye), John Burnette (Amber) and Kyla Ashley (Gabe); and her siblings, Cindy Long (Phillip) and Gary Woodward. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
