He is survived by: his children, Karen Mason, Kathy Day and Brian Day (Jill); his grandchildren, Mattie Day, Marlie Day, Mandi Oakes (Joseph Oliver) and Tyson McWhorter (Beka); his great grandchildren, Joseph Oliver and Josie McWhorter; his siblings, Sue Pickle, Paula Cooper (Bill) and Jerry Day (Mary); and his friend Lee Parker. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
