He was predeceased by: his parents, John Walter Reid and Mary Frances'Bessie'Reid Hunt; and his siblings, Willie Cliff of Otis, Z. W., Henry Reid, Annie Mae Brewer Glenn, Luella Fannin and Gennell Johnson.
He is survived by: his son Ervin Reid (Lisa) of Roanoke, AL; his grandchildren, Edesha Reid of Franklin, GA and Marquarius Reid of Franklin, GA; his sisters, Lena Bradfield (Willie) of Franklin, GA and Minnie Johnson of Atlanta, GA.; his nieces and nephews, Gregory Johnson, Darrin Fannin, Lambert Johnson, Andy Reid, John O. Reid, Delores Martin, Patrice Fannin, Gladys Bradfield, Audrey Dunlap, Robin Clark, Janice Brewer and Teresa Bradfield; and his close friends, Rebecca Jones, Lynn, Kerry Pritchett, Pierce Lewis, Cleveland Rutledge and Wylie Jones. He is also survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home (100 Corporate Plaza Dr, LaGrange, GA 30241). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Stateline Baptist Church (112 Glenn Rd, Franklin, GA 30217).
