He is survived by: his children, Chris Rachal of Greensboro, NC, Kay Myatt (Dave Myatt) of Carrolton, GA and Suzy Jones (Paul Jones); his grandchildren, Cody, Casey Jones, Jeff, Alex Myatt and Brian Rachal; his great grandchildren, Malaya Myatt, Maddux Myatt and Lilly Jean Jones; and his wife Francis Elizabeth Hood (Betty).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at the Mountville Methodist Church (4563 Greenville Rd, LaGrange, GA 30241).
