She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Mooty and Ethel Kate Wilkerson Mooty; her siblings, Curtis Mooty (Malissa Mooty) and Patricia Underwood; and her nephew Leopold Chelcy.

She is survived by: her sisters, Irma Mooty and Valerie Robinson (Roy); and her siblings' children, Jonathan Mooty (Jayn), Phillip Underwood and Cheryl Mooty-Oliver. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Southview Cemetery.
