It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Colson Willingham of LaGrange, Georgia, who passed away on February 13, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Judson Jackson Yates and Hatty Lou Ware Yates; her daughter Melody "DeeDee" Woodruff; her former husband Floyd Colson; her husband Ben Willingham, Sr.; and her siblings, James Lee "Dude" Yates, Martha Ann Walker and Joyce Hannah.

She is survived by: her children, Sherri Faucett, Mitch Colson (Vickie) and Jeff Colson; her sister Laura Cato; and her stepchildren, Chris Willingham and Linda Willingham King. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
