She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Compton and Mabel Compton; her husband James Myers; and her son Michael. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Hamm and Debbie Nolen (Ken); and her sister Shirley Reno (Lee). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary (1010 Mooty Bridge Rd, LaGrange, GA 30240). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Restlawn Memory Gardens (2098 Mooty Bridge Rd, LaGrange, GA 30241).
