She was predeceased by : her parents, Roman "Romalic" Roman and Beulah Mae Roman; her husband Melvin, Sr.; her daughter Pamela Hill; and her siblings, Raymond Roman, Junior Roman, Charlie Frank Roman, Sr., Otis Roman, Sara Jane Harris, Amos Roman, Hattie Mae Roman, Rosalie Traylor, Buford Roman, Romalic Roman, James Roman and Lon G. Roman.
She is survived by : her children, Melvin Hill (Pamela), Valerie Heard (Stanley), Rochelle Patillo (Arthur) and Bernard Hill; her grandchildren, Jonathan McCauley, Octavius Hill, Melvin Hill, III, Pashience Hill, Meagan Lewis (Gregory), Brandon Patillo (Cierra), Stanley Heard (Dominique), Brittney Patillo, Anquavaous Hill, Tamia Robertson and Ashton Hill; and her sisters, Lucinda King, Lula Pearl Hearn, Louise Jennings, Peggy Campbell and Helen Newsome. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandson.
