Carol touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Callaway Johnson Bush and William Washington Johnson Senior; her husband Ronald Charles Kelley; and her siblings, William Washington Johnson Jr. and Ann Johnson Woodward. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel (1010 Mooty Bridge Rd, LaGrange, GA 30240). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Carol's memory to The LaGrange-Troup County Humane Society, Poplar Creek Senior Living Center of LaGrange, or Wellstar West Georgia Hospice.
