He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Fowler Perkins and Cecil Johnson Perkins; and his siblings, Seba Ann Perkins Lanier, William R. "Bill" Perkins, Harwell Lee Perkins and Rufus "Buck" Perkins.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Perkins of LaGrange; his daughters, Patricia Diann Perkins Lawrence (James G. Lawrence) of Opelika, AL, Carol Louise Perkins Wallace of LaGrange and Dolores Jane Perkins Tomlinson (Nathan Tomlinson) of Hogansville; and his sister Sue Thompson of LaGrange. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Grove Community Church.
