He is survived by: his daughter Kathryn Akers (Doug); his grandchildren, Ryan Akers (Ashley) and Shelley Swope (Zach); his great grandchildren, Axel Akers and Arrow Akers; his niece Kathren Fogg (Michael); and his caregiver Ida Holloway. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
