Dan Ward Obituary
We announce the death of Dan Ward of LaGrange, Georgia, who passed away on September 15, 2026, at the age of 80. Dan will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Dan will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Dan will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Dan’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Albert Ward and Minnie Leigh Ward. He is survived by: his wife Patti Ward; and his children, Lee Ward (Lane), Cris Ward (Melissa), Doree O'Neal, Jedd McConnell (Nicole) and Abbey Fuller (Brett). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (208 Fannin St, LaGrange, GA 30241). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Gideons International.
