She is survived by: her husband Frank Nelph Hale; and her brothers, Richard Wayne Ellis (Aileen) and Terry Ellis (Melinda). She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.

“Mrs. Debo... this breaks my heart into pieces, but I know she is doing better now that she isn't in pain. I pray for Frank and all of Debo's family and friends through this difficult time. Frank, if you see this and you're okay with it, I would like to help you set up all the trees come Christmas time. I know she loved all 6 trees being lit up all throughout the house. She will truly be missed by many, as she touched so many people's hearts. Such a sweet soul, gone too soon. May she RIP..”
