He is survived by: his siblings, Paul Scruggs (Sherry) of Warm Springs, Larry Scruggs, David Scruggs and Debbie Coleman; his children, Dana Archer (Bryan) of Nicholson, Lisa Benefield (Richard) of LaGrange, Georgia and Don Leon Scruggs Jr. of Madison County, Georgia.; and his grandchildren, Tristan and Kaleah Benefield. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
