He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Wells and Mamie Wells. He is survived by: his wife Martha Ann Wells; his children, Marche Kelly and Shane Griffin; his grandchildren, Edwin, Lexi Edwards, Ashley "Brooke" and Jason Pelts; his great grandchildren, Leamel Pelts, Alexander Pelts, Nicholas Pelts, Adalyn Edwards and Wyatt Edwards; his siblings, Jimmy (Nonnie Wells), Wilma Lovette and Sara Weeks; and his sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Laster (Jay), Ruby Shavers and Rita Smith. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and special friends.
