He is survived by: his children, Gary Waldrop (Tracy), Diane Womack (Larry) and Barbara Price; his brother Rurel Waldrop; and his grandchildren, Courtney Allen (Shawn), Whitney Adcock (Wes), Cassidy Fomby, Monica Emory, Katie Tanner (Shane), Andrew Womack (Mindy) and Lori Forster (Craig). He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
