He is survived by: his children, Vinson Brooks, Beverly Maddox (Arthur), Nicole Brooks (Johnny Huguely), Chantris Fannin (Freddie Bodie), Veronica Shannon (Thomas), Devean Brooks and Windy Kennedy (Victor Hurston); his stepchildren, Patricia Williams, Tony Kennedy (April) and Cynthia Kennedy; his siblings, Jewel Brooks, Harvey Brooks, Alfonso Brooks, Will Lee Brooks, Patricia Brooks, Dorothy Ferrell (Larry) and Eva Brooks; his grandchildren, Kenneth Kennedy (Toya), Alisha Kennedy, Lashay Kinloch (Simore), Shronda Garcia (Desmond), Jeffrey Kennedy, Antonio Kennedy and Victoria Kennedy; his sister Twenty; his great grandchildren, Catoria Kennedy and Takaiha Kennedy; his great great grandchild Kynadi Williams; and his close friend Virginia Kennedy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
