Elise Middlebrooks Cash Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elise Middlebrooks Cash (LaGrange, Georgia), who passed away on October 19, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse J. Middlebrooks and Pauline Johnson Pope; her grandmother Thomas; her husbands, Sonny Breed and Kenneth Cash; and her brothers, Everette Middlebrooks and Daniel Middlebrooks.

She is survived by: her son Emory M. Breed (Barbara) of Moreland, Georgia; her grandchildren, Joe McCann of Fort Worth, Patrick McCann (Kaitlin) of McKinney, Carly Breed Otts (Kevin) of Woodstock and Kelly Breed Green (Josh) of Newnan, Georgia; her great grandchildren, Avery, Logan McCann of McKinney, Elizabeth and Shelby Green of Newnan, Georgia.; and her siblings, Gary Middlebrooks (Joyce) of Carrollton, Georgia and Dottie Waugh (Danny) of LaGrange, Georgia. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary (1010 Mooty Bridge Rd, LaGrange, GA 30241). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Shadowlawn Cemetery (112 Oak Ln, LaGrange, GA 30241).
