She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Taylor and Lamerle Ruffin; and her son Bubba Smedley. She is survived by: her husband David Smedley; her son David Brian Smedley; her siblings, Patricia Justiss (Emery), Betty Jean Bulloch and Ricky Taylor; and her grandsons, Gavin and Blake Smedley. She is also survived by her family, serving as a faithful wife.
