He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Buren Ayers and Frances Cola Dunbar Ayers. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ayers; his children, Gary Ayers (Ginger), Susan Ayers and Christopher Ayers (Melissa); his grandchildren, John Ayers, Candy Hudson (Joe), Angela McCullum (Tirus), Derrick McCullum (Patricia), Jason Ayers, Logan Ayers and Grant Ayers (Alyssa); and his sisters, Freida Smith (Floyd) and Barbara Turner. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren; numerous great great grandchildren.
The family has requested any contributions be made to a favorite charity in memory of Mr. Elwood Gary Ayers.
