She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Arlon Newman; her sister Carole Hiers Zeigler; and her parents, Lawton Gilmore Hiers and Loulie Greene Hiers. She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Owen (James); her grandsons, Daniel and David (Wendy); her daughter Ginger Schafer (late Keith); her grandsons, Jay and Jeff (Nicole); her daughter Jane Mahan Enck (Doug); her grandchildren, Jon (Harlee), Scottie (Carrie) and Connor; her daughter Nancy Frank (Jim); and her grandchildren, Matthew and Kelly. She is also survived by her many friends and the very special caregivers.
