He is survived by: his wife Melody Patterson; his children, Detrissa Patterson, Quandrea Patterson, Mytia Hardnett (James), Darion Lipscomb and Ashley Patterson; his grandchildren, Jontez Patterson, Korie Maddox, Joshua Maddox, Antavious Baker, Caleb Maddox, Ashton Patterson, Wesley Davidson, Andre Davidson, Matthew Davidson, Emmanuel Hardnett, Rodney Hardnett and Conner Patterson; his great grandchildren, Casyn Billingslea, Kyndal Maddox, Gracelyn Gray and Amoura Slaton; his sisters, Myrtis Patterson and Frances Harper (Kane); and his siblings-in-law, Hollis Potts, Judy Atcherson and Frankie Hurston (Barbara). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
