She was predeceased by: her parents, Jewell Pye and Flora Norris Pye; and her husband Gordon Douglas Cook Jr. Mrs. She is survived by: her children, Gina Smolen (Jonathan), Gerry Cook, Gay Davis (Lewis) and Doug Cook (Suzanne); and her grandchildren, Spencer Smolen, Taylor Brooks, Jerett Cook, William Watts, Lewis "Trey" Davis, Abigail Cook and Turner Cook.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Merry Makers Group at First Baptist Church on the Square, LaGrange, GA.
