It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerry Lamar Cannon (LaGrange, Georgia), who passed away on June 17, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Juanita Cannon and Jaunita; his grandmother Maggie Cannon; and his aunts and uncles, Mary Alice Cannon, Lillian Knight, Bertha Stamps, Leon Cannon, Levon Cannon and Robert Cannon.
He is survived by: his wife Augusta Cannon; his daughter Cherie Ransom; his stepson Antonio Johnson; his grandchildren, Travorous Gates, Raven Gates and Kimberly Gates; his great grandchildren, Josiah, Ariyah, Rae'lyn and Taquarius; his aunt Magline Gilbert; and his uncles, George Cannon (Earnestine), Robert Stamps and Sammie Gilbert. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home (100 Corporate Plaza Dr, LaGrange, GA 30241). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Burks Chapel United Methodist Church (855 Burkes Chapel Rd, LaGrange, GA 30241).
