He was predeceased by: his parents, James Chesnut and Louise Chesnut; and his brother Keith Chesnut. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Joyce Bradley Chesnut; his daughter Cathrine Chesnut; and his siblings, Randy Chesnut (Janice), Jim Chesnut (Angie), Kenneth Chesnut, Edna Aikens (Anthony) and Marlane Dainels (George). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
