He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory Gable and Julia Gray Gable; his wife Janice Looney Gable; his daughter Rhonda Gable Edwards; his daughter-in-law Pamela Regina Gable; and his siblings, Jim Gable, Bill Gable and Brenda Gable.
He is survived by: his son Daryl Gable of Lanett, AL; his grandchildren, Lindsey, William Walker, Cecily, Jacob Nelson, James Edwards and Jennifer Strickland; and his great grandchildren, Emily, Jade, Milo, William, Jr., Ashtyn, Natalie, Emerson, Caroline, Demarkel, James, Jalynn, Landon, Donald Ray, Olivia, Dawson and Dakota. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
