He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory Cox and Della Presley Cox; and his siblings, Fred Cox, Ruth Cox East, Mildred Cox Hicks, Bobby Cox and Goldman Cox.
He is survived by: his sister Barbara Cox Arrington (Steve). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Whispering Hill Nature Preserve and Natural Green Cemetery (3550 Mooty Bridge Rd, LaGrange, GA 30240).
