He is survived by: his children, David James Whaley (Whitney) and Elizabeth Horne "Beth" Miree (Chris); his grandchildren, Christian James Whaley (Alyssa), Madelyn Grace Whaley, Grayson Andrew Whaley, Lucille Leigh Miree and Cooper Estes Miree; his great grandchildren, Abbie Claire Whaley and Colter John Whaley; his daughter-in-law Kim Hoff Whaley; and his brothers-in-law, Eldridge Jewell Cook, Jr. and Nim Jerome Weldon (Cindy). He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
