It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Gordon Steger of LaGrange, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on February 15, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Steger and Ruth Steger; his wife Peggy Steger; and his daughter Beth Steger. He is survived by: his son Mike Steger of Newnan, Georgia; his grandchildren, Kim Steger of Lilburn, Georgia and Matthew Steger (Katarina) of Acworth, Georgia; his great grandchildren, Alex Ramos (Kelly), Van Pruett (Samantha), Sam Pruett, Oliver Steger and Penny Steger; his great great grandchildren, Bentley Pruett, Mila Ramos and Lilly Ramos; and his stepchildren, Joy Thompson (Johnny, family: Angie Stallings) and Ed Gable. He is also survived by family, Angie Stallings (David) and family.
