He was predeceased by: his parents, James B. Worthy, Sr. and Willie Thompson Worthy of Arizona; and his wife Ann Ruth Shaw Worthy. He is survived by: his children, James Randall Worthy and Cynthia Diane Wood; his sister Mary Arnold; and his grandchildren, Brooke Shay, Ethan Tippy and Jacob Nelson (Cecily). He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren.
