She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldred Elkins and Gladys Elkins; her husband Gary Stephens; her siblings, Billy Elkins and Sarah Elkins Martin; and her nephew Andy Elkins.
She is survived by: her daughter Lori Stephens Taylor (Tim); and her grandchildren, Landon Taylor of Opelika, AL and Reagan Taylor of Madison, AL. She is also survived by three nieces and many great nieces and nephews.
