With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerrell Wayne Laster of LaGrange, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 5, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Jerrell may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jerrell touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Terrell Albert Laster and Adelee Chatham Laster Dean. He is survived by: his caregivers, Lisa Childs, Tasha Brown, Paula Sarju, Shirley and Veronica; his brother Randall Laster (Joyce) of Five Points, Alabama; and his cousins, Ann Gurr of Roanoke and Mackey Lambert of LaGrange, Georgia.
