He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bolden West, Sr. and Imogene Barker West. He is survived by: his wife Mary Christopher West of LaGrange, GA; his children, John Christopher West of Auburn, AL and Tammy West Barton of LaGrange, GA; his grandchildren, Kimberly Rogers (Andrew) of LaGrange, GA, Caleb Tyson of LaGrange, GA and Gus Barton of LaGrange, GA; and his siblings, Debbie Phelps (Ed) of LaGrange, GA and Jerry Y. West (Judy) of Tifton, GA. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Callaway Baptist Church, LaGrange, GA, Building Fund, or to Wounded Warrior Project in memory of Mr. John B. West, Jr.
