He is survived by: his wife Doris Almand; his sister Carver Farrar; his children, Kim Murphy, Trae Thompson (Derick), John Almand (Robin), Morris Almand and Willie Almand; his grandchildren, Kayleigh Hester (Brian), Karleigh Adams (CJ), Brandon Almand (Cassandra), Alexis Scurlock (Corey) and Joey Almand; and his nieces, Gina and Martha. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Baptist Tabernacle Church (849 S Davis Rd, LaGrange, GA 30241). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at the Shadowlawn Cemetery (210 W Bacon St, LaGrange, GA 30241).
