She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Spaldin Adams and Ida Myrtle Belle Adams; her husband Delma Leon "Buddy" Fowler; and her brother Bobby Adams. She is survived by: her children, Vickie Baird (David) of Holly Springs, NC, Ernie Fowler (Arlene) of West Point, GA and Dana L. Kennedy of West Point, GA; her grandchildren, Garrett Starnes (Sara) of Asheville, NC, Stephanie Masters (Nate) of Carrollton, GA, Kristen Rudisill (Casey) of Charlotte, NC, Melanie Mailhot (Madison) of Pine Mountain, GA, Leah Rutland (Justin Higgins) of Millbrook, AL, Will Baird (Tracie) of Columbia, SC, Peyton Rutland (Caitlyn) of Lanett, AL and Drew Baird of Los Angeles, CA; her sister Dianne Satterwhite of LaGrange, GA; and her sister-in-law Betty Adams of Valley, AL. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
